Fashion Week
New York, London and Milan,
Feb. 8–Feb. 27

Hollywood
(and the Queen)
on the Runway
At New York Fashion Week,
Calvin Klein boasted the
most A-list-heavy front row,
with Nicole Kidman (3),
Margot Robbie (3), upita L
Nyong’o (4), Michael B.
Jordan (4), Millie Bobby
Brown (1), Laura Dern (3)
and many more sitting
ankle-deep in popcorn to
watch designer Raf Simons’
latest take on Americana
on a set piled with 50,000
gallons of popped ker-
nels. It wasn’t royal-to-be
Meghan Markle but Queen
Elizabeth II (5) who caused
a stir at London Fashion
Week, where she sat (on a
velvet cushion, natch)
next to Vogue’s Anna
Wintour (5) in the front row
of Richard Quinn’s show.
Also in London, designer
Christopher Bailey took his
final bow at Burberry,
going out with a sea of
LGBTQ rainbow color and
checks, as Zendaya (2),
Idris Elba, Naomi Watts,
Lily Collins and more
looked on. And in Milan,
Gucci’s Alessandro
Michele made a subtle
political statement about
identity and belonging,
using elements of multi-
cultural dress and tailoring
along with corporate and
sports logos — including
the distinctive Paramount
snowcapped peaks and the
Yankees’ “NY” that adorns
Michele’s favorite baseball
cap. — BOOTH MOORE

Good Game
Stars of Game Night
revealed some spirited
family pastimes at the
movie’s TCL Chinese
Theatre premiere. Jason
Bateman (7) spoke of
playing “dress-up and
building dollhouses”
with his kids, while Kyle
Chandler likes to challenge
his wife to backgam-
mon. The film, which marks
a reunion for Bateman
and co-directors John
Francis Daley (8) and
Jonathan Goldstein (8)
(writers on the two
Horrible Bosses films),
was feted with a themed
afterparty at the Dream
Hollywood, where guests
played Pac-Man Battle
Royale. — MARC MALKIN
