SCHOOL HOLIDAY SPECIAL

The Lion Guard (s2)

If your littlies haven’t yet been exposed to

the brilliant and vibrant world of Kion as he

follows in his father Simba’s footsteps to

protect the Pride Lands, then it’s time to get

them started. An extension of Disney’s 1994

classic film The Lion King, this series follows

Simba and Nala’s youngest son and his

brave furry friends as they courageously

take on the cruel animals lurking throughout

their majestic kingdom.

The second season sees the fearsome

crew tasked with keeping the peace at an

important summit between species and

dealing with a cheeky comedy troupe of

baboons that try to steal food from the pride.

They also find an unlikely friend to help them

rescue two hyena cubs from lava.

While visually this animation will have your

children captivated, it also delivers important

messages in each of the seven episodes

about valuing friendship against all odds and

always standing up for what you believe in.

Monday to Sunday from April 23 at 9.35am on

Disney Junior [709] part of the ENTERTAINMENT pack

Unikitty gets her own show. The colourful

unicorn-cross-kitten is joined by an array

of kooky pals in a world that’s filled with

excitement, adventure and... dance parties.

Enter the cheerful, sparkly kingdom

in which Unikitty reigns – and bad vibes

are not permitted. As the ruler, Unikitty’s

number-one priority is to maintain a happy

land where her family and friends are not

subjected to negativity of any kind. But trust

us when we say this is one ray of sunshine

who will quickly turn into a very dark cloud

should anyone burst her bubble, or worse,

upset her brother and her bestest friend

Puppycorn. You’ve been warned!

Fridays from April 27 at 4.30pm on Cartoon

Network [713] available in the KIDS pack

with the rare reptiles

that once roamed

breathes all things dinosaurs

  • she even has the ability to

imagine them into being!

Never without her trusty

transformative backpack,

Dana, with the help of her

11-year-old stepsister Saara

(Chaudry) and her guidebook,
