hour, as the star’s lawyers fight to reach a plea
bargain that will keep her out of jail.
Police reports claim the trouble started
after Luann and an ex-boyfriend accidentally
entered the wrong room at the Colony hotel
in Palm Beach. When they allegedly refused
to leave, cops were called to the room. It was
then that Luann – ‘who appeared to be highly
intoxicated’ – is said to have struck an officer
‘in the forehead’. She was also allegedly
yelling, ‘I am going to f---ing kill you’ to
police as they took her to the station.
Apologising for her behaviour, Luann
explained the trip to Palm Beach had
‘brought up long-buried emotions’, just
one year after she had married her now-
ex-husband Tom D’Agostino Jr at the very
same holiday hotspot.
‘I have decided to seek professional
guidance and will be voluntarily checking
into an alcohol treatment centre,’ the one-
time countess added.
