OK! EXCLUSIVE

Wereyouworriedabouthowyou’d
be portrayed on-screen?
Ifiguredoutquitequicklythatweallhave
ourown characters. Obviously I’m the social
media, socialite, bimbo-y type, but that’s fine.

There’sbeensomebuzzaboutsurgery...
Obviously I get filler in my lips. My mum’s from

Have you spent
alot on surgery?
Icouldn’treallytellyou

Ihavefriendswhoworkintheindustry
so I kind of get looked after which is good!

So whyMAFS?
Iactuallygotapproachedbysomeonewho
thought I would be good on the show, which
isn’tsurprisingbecauseI’mthekindofcrazy
person that would do something like this!
I thought, I’ve got nothing to lose!

What was your love life like beforeMAFS?
I love a date! I love Tinder, love Bumble, love all
the dating websites. It’s not like I have trouble

finding dates, it’s just finding quality, you know?
I have been single for four years, since my last
seriousrelationship.ButI’m26now,Ireally

Andyou’vehadnothingserioussince?
All the others were just randoms. I can
honestly say I’ve definitely never been in
lovebefore.Never.There’sjustbeen no-one
whoreallyinspiresme,ever.

So you turned toMAFStofind The One?
I didn’t have many expectations. It’s a reality
TVshow–I’mnotsilly,
it wouldn’t surprise
me if I got paired with
adouche.Butinthe
back of my mind I was
like,‘Shit,whatifthis

life?’ So I was hopeful.
To do something as
crazy as this, you have
to go into it with an
open heart and mind.

And when you actually met him?
He spoke a lot through the ceremony, so
my first impressions weren’t overly great.
Hecameacrossstraightawayasalarrikin

taking it seriously. I was like, ‘Shut up, man.
You’re embarrassing me and I’ve only known
you for like two minutes!’

Didyouhearalarmbellsatthatpoint?
I’mallforhavingalaugh,butIappreciate
aput-together man. I’m sick of dating
boys.SoassoonasImetRyanIthought,
‘AmIjustgoingtobedatingakid?Isthis
what I’ve signed up for?’ But my opinions
startedtochangethroughouttheday.

So you started to see him differently?
I think the champagne helped! When we
were doing our photos, I was able to chat to
him and understand him better. The good
thing about Ryan is he does make you feel
comfortable, so it was easier for me to relax
as the day went on. And I started to see there
is more to him than his crazy, out-there side.

You’ve said you’re ‘picky’ with guys.
Didyou worry that you weren’t giving
Ryanarealchance?
If I met Ryan in the real world, I probably
wouldn’t text him back. I would be like,
‘Catch ya, you’re not my kind of guy.’ But
I put myself on this show to adult my way
througharelationshipandIhavetotrust
the experts know what they were doing.

Any romance on the wedding night?!
Wedidhaveapash...ItwasOK.Like,Idon’t

Ifyou found someone else’s hubby
attractive, would you act on it?!
Totally–it’sanexperiment,soanythingcan
happen. If you find someone else attractive,
you can’t help it... It might not necessarily be
thebestthing,butyou’rethereforareason,
and if it’s happening, then it’s happening.

Having not lived with a guy before, Davina
admits she was nervous about launching
into a ‘marriage’ with tradie Ryan. ‘You put
a lot of expectations on yourself, like, “Am
I supposed to love you straightaway?” And
she’s still not sure about their dynamic. ‘We
are always in this constant battle of figuring
out if we’re married or if we’re like brother
and sister,’ Davina spills. ‘Our relationship
is very exciting slash explosive. It’s bizarre
for me as I don’t usually fight with people.’

‘WE’RE LIKE

SIBLINGS’
