Set up by friends at the start of 2016, it’s

been a whirlwind – and somewhat fairytale

• romance for the fashion blogger and former
  footballer, both 33. Before they knew it,
  they were living in Bondi together with their
  staffy Sadie (who they share with Elle’s sister,
  Lucie), and on December 27 last year, Joel
  (or‘Babes’,asElle’sfollowersknowhim)
  executed the most romantic proposal ever at
  theirfavouritebeach,WategosinByronBay
  –presentingashockedEllewithadiamond
  ringhehelpedcreatewithLucie,whoruns
  her own jewellery label, BabyAnything.
  It’s hard to believe this perfect pairing
  nearly didn’t happen. ‘I must have cancelled,
  like,fourorfivetimes!’Ellesaysofherfirst
  datewithJoel.‘Youdidcancelalot,’helaughs.
