Walking Out(Adventure, Drama)

very year 14-year-old David

(Josh Wiggins) visits his

estranged father, Cal (Matt

Bomer) deep in the Montana

mountains. The differences between

their lifestyles divide tech-dependant

David further from his silent,

outdoorsy father. David is resentful

and reluctant to leave his creature

comforts and his phone behind to

join his father as they head off into

the wilderness to hunt.

Cal tries to connect with his son

by recounting stories about how his

own father (played in flashbacks by

Bill Pullman) instructed him in the

same manly ways that Cal is passing

down now.

Things take a turn for the worse

when a chance encounter with a

grizzly bear leaves Cal wounded

and the ensuing mishaps force

David to mature under the weight

of responsibility.
