MAKING A NEW HOME
It took Melania a good six months after
her husband Donald Trump was sworn in
as President in January 2017, to fi nally
shift to the White House. But its wasn’t
only the comfort of her uber chic, ultra
luxe apartment at Trump Tower in NYC
that prevented her from making the move;
her son Barron’s schooling would have
been interrupted mid-year.
“Looking forward to the memories we’ll
make in our new home!” she tweeted in
June, when she moved into Washington
and recently stated that she’s very happy
in her new zip code, as her son Barron
‘loves it here’.
Known for her love for interior design
and architecture, she was quick to lend
a few ‘Melania’ touches to the statuesque
White House as well. From a whole new
interior scheme, her own expensive
furniture and some soothing splashes of
‘teal blue’, the White House was spruced
up in true-blue Trump style!
