I am very fortunate
to be working with
director Shree
Narayan Singh for
my upcoming film
‘Batti Gul-Meter
Chalu’ starring
Shahid Kapoor. This
will be my second
collaboration with
Shree.
‘Fanney Khan’ starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan,
Anil Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao is also in the works
and will be released next year.
There’s a lot more in the planning stages, including
a fi lm with Amrita Singh and Saif Ali Khan’s
daughter Sara Ali Khan and Sushant Singh Rajput.
I also want to sign the vivacious Deepika Padukone
for my next untitled fi lm. So I have quite a bit on my
plate and I’m going to focus on that before I consider
branching out into other avenues like television or
the digital platform.
MY WISH LIST
As far as directors are concerned, I want to make a
lot of fi lms with Shree Narayan Singh. Akshay Kumar,
who I have been lucky enough to have worked with,
tops my list of actors. If I get a chance to make a reality
show with Akshay Kumar, I will surely go for it. I would
also like to work with Shah Rukh Khan. He is by far the
most romantic hero in the country and I truly admire him.
FASHIONISTA FABLES!
Apart from fi lms, the only thing that I’m crazy about
is shopping. I’m a shopaholic, there’s no doubt about
that! I ensure that I’m perfectly dressed wherever I go.
I have a great relationship with brands like Christian
Dior and Gucci. I personally love Dior. Last year, I
went to Paris for Dior’s fashion week, where I met
