brothor water
2 tbsp.soysauce
2 tbsp.teriyaki
sauce,pl usextra
fo r frying
21 ⁄ 2 tbsp.ground
flaxseedmixed
with3 tbsp.
water
1 cupcrushed
pineapple
2 tbsp.brown
sugar
(^1) ⁄ 2 cupvitalwheat
glutenflour
(^1) ⁄ 2 cupwhole
wheatflour
1.In a bowl,combine
fi rst4 ingredients.
Covertightlywithplas-
ticwrap;microwave
5 to6 min.Let cool.

Serves 6
PER SERVING: 159 cal,
11g protein, 25g carbs,
4g fiber, 4g sugar, 2g fat
- Add remaining
ingredients. Season. - Mix well with your
hands, about 5 min.
The mixture should
end up being a little
sticky and stringy.
Depending on the
moisture level of your
TVP and pineapple,
you may need to add
more or less flour.
Refrigerate at least 20
min. to thicken up a bit.
Form into 6 patties. - In a nonstick pan
or skillet, panfry the
patties, adding more
teriyaki sauce to taste.
Serve on burger buns
with lettuce, sliced red
onion and sliced pine-
apple, if desired.
