hen you’re out in the bush,

safety should be one of your

top priorities. These days

technology has come a heck

of a long way, and signal strength is better

than it was in a lot of areas – Even since

a few years ago. The problem is in a lot

of places we like to take our 4WDs, the

signal strength is too weak to actually use

your mobile effectively. In an emergency

situation this can be life threatening.

Fortunately there is a solution! Powertec

are the Australian distributor of the Cel-Fi

GO, which is essentially a cellular repeater

that you can install in your vehicle. It is

the only consumer mobile phone repeater

that has been approved for use on the

Telstra, Optus (coming soon) and Vodafone

Networks and its dead easy to install. So

this issue, we’re going to be installing one

into the 4WD Action HiLux before it’s next

trip out bush!
