Winter wonders

If you’re after a fresh air, cool breeze kind of trip, Ramblers’
Festival of Winter Walks will take place from 20th
December this year to 5th January 2020 involving hundreds
of free walks across the UK. HF Holidays also offers a
variety of winter walking breaks taking in glorious scenery
from the Isle of Wight to the Yorkshire Dales.

If you prefer to keep warm, but still want to experience the
landscape, take a trip up Portsmouth’s Spinnaker Tower for
panoramic views of Portsmouth Harbour and beyond. Walk
across the glass floor or try out the virtual reality experience

  • Altitude - or if that isn’t for you, head up to The Clouds
café, 105m in the sky, for a hot drink and a bite to eat.

When the weather outside is frightful, head to the Royal
Albert Hall where you’ll find many concerts and shows to
warm your hearts.
