Head to Newbury Racecourse for a mixed bag of events
from Gin Thursdays to October Afternoon Racing or the
Ladbrokes Winter Carnival. Chester Racecourse is actually
Britain’s oldest racecourse still in operation dating back
to 1539. Enjoy a variety of events from Ladies & Gents
Evenings to the Autumn Festival.
If you fancy a seaside destination with the added bonus
of horseracing, then head to Brighton Racecourse which
has an unusual horseshoe-shaped track. Events include the
Festival of Racing in August, Gentleman’s Day (June) and
Ladies Day (August) as well as a range of Family Fun Days.
The annual Qatar Goodwood Festival, also known as
‘Glorious Goodwood’, takes place this year between 30th
July - 3rd August at the Goodwood Estate in Sussex.
