When animals die, we often overlook the option to preserve them - most
people go down the usual path of burial or cremation without knowing or
considering that preservation through taxidermy is a possibility. It’s usu-
ally seen as something reserved for natural history museum pieces, or the
deer trophy up on the hunter’s wall, but among keepers of unusual pets,
there is a rising trend to have their animals preserved.
