Going with the grain
Distinctive white Icon tapware from Astra Walker is used throughout the house, including
this gooseneck above the kitchen’s double sink from The Sink Warehouse, set into the
handsome benchtop of recycled oregon timber. Resourceful Tanya rebirthed the 1960s
Danish wall light, sourced from Gumtree, as she did the walls in recycled bricks.

Perfect landing
“Fitting the recycled [Baltic pine] floorboards together
was like a jigsaw puzzle, but so worth it,” Tanya says of
the mezzanine landing that houses a desk and storage.

Land of nod
Peter built the headboard
in the main bedroom from
Ecoply and retrofitted the twin
amber 1970s pendants with
LED lights. The linen bedlinen
is from In Bed. The Kreafunk
aGlow wireless speaker
and lamp is ingeniously
dual purpose.
