s everyone reading this already knows, cats are truly
fascinating creatures, so it’s not that surprising that
thousands of artists over the years have attempted to
capture their beauty and charm in their work.
For fans of feline art, a new book has collated some of the most
interesting and quirky pieces of cat art and illustrations from
around the world. ‘The Book of the Cat’ by Angus Hyland and
Caroline Roberts features over 100 stunning images, alongside
short texts about some of the artists and their subjects.
For Caroline, creating a book all about her favourite subject
matter was no chore at all.
She explains: “It gave me the perfect excuse to spend hours
and hours looking at cat pictures on the internet, which, I admit,
became something of an addiction. As with most books like
