HARDWARE PLATFORM

The Leica MCP80 machine control panel, combined

with the intelligent Leica MDS docking station, is the

one-for-all machine control hardware solution for

every application in heavy construction. Representing

the latest in cutting edge technology, the MCP80 is

customer-centered in design with an 8” full colour

touch-screen with backlit buttons designed to bring

ease-of-use to the operator. It connects to the MDS30

docking station for instant installation & removal via a

quick lock lever.

MCP80

The MCP80 control panel is robust in design with

the body featuring rubber casing, bumpers on the

corners and a hardened scratch resistant glass screen.

Powered by the latest 1.7HGz dual core intel processor,

the MCP80 is all about speed. Using touch screen

and hard buttons, the panel suits all machinery types

making operator training uniform and simplified. All

Leica machine sensors, TPS and reference GNSS

sensors are fully compatible.

MDS30

The MDS30 docking station is extremely tough and

made from cast aluminium to withstand the harshest

of environments. The lightweight yet robust design

allows greater vibration absorption with less wear

& tear. The docking station is rated IP67 meaning

complete water and dust resistance. All cabling

connects to the back housing. Communications and

power are fed through a high-speed infrared link.

The MDS30 stores all machine calibrations including

hydraulic profiles and can store up to 20 different

machines. Ethernet and modems are integrated with

support for 3G, 4G & 4GX.
