WHAT'S HOT
As with every year at Diesel, Dirt & Turf, there was
a tonne of standout exhibits by many renowned
manufacturers. Of course Auger Torque & Kinshofer
had a presence as well, being a sponsor for the 3rd year
in a row and the teams from the two sister companies
put in a huge effort each year to present their
attachments at the show. They believe in supporting
this event, which was established by the earthmoving
industry - for the earthmoving industry and recognise
Diesel Dirt & Turf as their major platform to meet with
existing and prospective customers in Australia. This
year Kinshofer even took out the award for best small
stand at the show, a well-deserved honour and credit
to the hard work put in by their team.
For the Kinshofer Group DDT also works as a
conference of sorts these days, with plenty of
representatives joining from overseas to talk about
the group's ever increasing product range covering
an impressive array of specialist from Auger Torque,
Demarec (Netherlands), RF Systems (Sweden),
Solesbee's (USA), Brokk (USA) and the latest family
member Doherty Attachments (New Zealand).
"2018 was yet another great DDT and we honestly
can't wait to head back and do it all again next year.
DDT provides Auger Torque with a great platform to
present and discuss our products with our customers,
industry piers and partners within the Kinshofer Group.
All in all we had a fantastic show with plenty of leads,
great social and commercial benefits. We were also
very happy to highlight our affiliation with our charity
of choice for 2018, the Jeans for Genes Foundation,
supporting the Children's Medical Research Institute
in Westmead," explained Kelvin Hamilton, General
Manager Auger Torque Australia.
Doing more charity work is part of Kelvin's drive
and new direction within the company of finding
'purpose beyond profit'. Auger Torque has been an
extremely successful and fortunate company over
the past decade or so and with that in mind they are
proud to be in a position to be able to give back to
the community that has given them so much over
the years. The Auger Torque crew sported the Genes
for Jeans logos on their shirts all weekend and even
went to the extreme with double denim on the final
day. Of course, as you might imagine, this fashion
faux pas generated more than a few questions from
the public and created the perfect talking point to
raise awareness for the important work CMRI does in
researching and fighting genetic childhood diseases,
birth defects and cancer. Auger Torque also made
their first donation to the institute and are excited
about more opportunities to raise much needed funds
in future with the help of their customers, dealers and
distributors.
