T’S BACK! THE MOST

brevity-tastic short fi lm
competition on the planet
Jameson Empire Done In
60 Seconds has returned.
Just add concentrated you.
A quick recap: Done In 60
Seconds challenges you to remake a fi lm — any fi lm
you like from classics to Adam Sandler’s entire back
catalogue — and compress it into just one minute.
Live-action animated lo-fi polished: it’s entirely up
to you. Can you follow in the footsteps of this year’s
champions Oliver Jones and Robert Kenyon who
won for their very funny take on Ghostbusters?
“Entering the competition was relatively easy”
laughs Jones. “Getting the fi lm made on the other
hand was pretty tough — making the props getting
the cast together and editing/post-production took
weeks if not months.”
But it was all worth it.
“Winning? Now that was crazy unexpected
and surreal” says Jones. “When we heard the words
‘UK’ and ‘Ghostbusters’ being read out to say I was
shocked is an understatement. It was one of the best
moments of my life.”
Inspired yet? The time has come to get busy
