Gameplay: This RPG is from the team behind I Am Setsuna, and plays a lot like that game, but
with much improved combat! Lost Sphear is about Kanata, a boy who can restore lost ‘memories’
using his special powers, who must go on a quest with his mates to restore a world that is slowly
disappearing! The plot is pretty good, especially towards the end where there are heaps of twists
and turns that we didn’t see coming. The best part of the game is the combat, though, which is
super strategic and fun! It’s turn-based, but there are lots of different attack styles to try out, and
you can move around the battlefi eld for a better position. The boss fi ghts are super hard – don’t
be afraid to turn the diffi culty down to easy if you need to!
Graphics: Lost Sphear has some pretty cool places to explore, although the art isn’t as good as
something like Final Fantasy, or even the cool old-skool RPGs it’s inspired by! We liked some of
the enemy designs though, and there are some cool views scattered throughout the huge game
world! The soundtrack is neat too, but we wish there was voice acting so we could hear the
characters talk!MANIA
