A supportive bra is a girl’s best friend
It’s important to keep your girls in check when you’re being active,
and a good sports bra minimises jiggle and keeps your boobs in place.
When choosing a bra, make sure there’s no spillage, your whole
breast fits into the cup and the front straps aren’t too stretchy,
so they give you more control.
If you have a larger bust, consider sports bras with wide straps,
a proper clasp at the back and individual cups, rather than going for
a compression-style bra. If you’re on the smaller side, you can get
away with a shelf or tank-style bra.

Gym-friendly beauty
If you go outdoors, make sure you slip, slop and slap to protect your
skin from the sun’s harsh rays.
Want to primp a little before heading out? Apply a water- or sweat-
resistant foundation or tinted moisturiser, some waterproof mascara
and a little lip balm. Other products to put in your gym bag include
refreshing face wipes, a rosewater facial spray to spritz afterwards
and a packet of active pantyliners to keep you dry during your workout.

Best
foot forward
The right footwear is the
difference between powering
through and pain, so get your feet
measured by an expert who can also
observe your stride in-store. The
best shoes depend on your activity
preferences: cross-trainers will differ
from netball sneakers. Update
them regularly so they
remain supportive.
