“My weight can creep up at times, but with the tools WW offer I can bring it
back to where it should be. Moderation is key, which leads to making smart
choices,” says Diamond Coach Carmen. “I love a glass of wine on the weekends,
but I don’t have one every day.
“Exercise has become a big part of my daily routine. I walk the dog a few times
a day and I’m at the gym for an early morning class Monday to Friday. It’s not only
to help me maintain, but keeps me fit and is a great social affair too, so it’s good for
my mindset. I also know that tracking honestly is really important. It always comes
down to the food choices I make.”

“I plan every meal for the week and stick to
my shopping list. I still have weekly weigh-ins
at meetings because I find them inspiring,”
says Marie.“If I start to go a little off track,
I walk out of the meetings with my head in
the right space again.
“I also exercise daily. I enjoy walking but
change my route to include a longer distance
or an extra hill. I also do light gym exercise
and swim in the local pool. Another thing that
helps me stay on track is reading the inspiring
stories of other WW members.”

“Regular exercise is how I maintain my weight
loss. Find an exercise or activity that you really
enjoy doing and that will easily fit into your life.
If it’s an activity you can’t easily do on a regular
basis, you’re not likely to keep it up,” Fleur says.
“I plan my meals every week using inspiration
from the WW cookbooks and magazine. This
gives me and my family variety and keeps me
excited about trying new healthy recipes.
“Finally, I like to meditate for five minutes
every morning. This means I start my day in a
relaxed and meaningful way and I can maintain
that great mindset for the rest of the day.”

“Weighing in every month helps me stay accountable
and focused for the month ahead. You can’t argue with
that number on the scales!” says Sharon. “I also plan my
meals in advance, which helps me have healthy food
ready to go, as well as nutritious snacks on hand.
“I love to eat out. I look up the menu of the
restaurant before I go so I’m prepared with healthy
meal options. I can still go out and really enjoy myself,
and that’s what being on the program is all about.”
