Try an MV
Because they weren’t busy enough at the Island Classic, MV
Agusta has announced it will host a series of ‘Ride and Try’ days

up on 3 February, where test pilots will ride a designated route
sampling MV’s latest models including the Brutale 800 RR
and the F3. Visit mvagusta.com.au for details.

That’s the number of selfies the GOAT Giacomo Agostini posed for at
the Island Classic. All the big names were incredibly obliging in the
Phillip Island heat, giving fans unique access to the paddock. Agostini,
still the star of the show, performed a series of parade laps on his title-
winning MV Agustas, as well as an entertaining interview with AMCN’s
Alan Cathcart at the welcome dinner. When asked about the 1992
500GP season while managing Cagiva, Ago ref lected on working with
John Kocinski. He had two words, “very difficult!”

Corser’s
Croc!
Troy Corser copped a surprise
at the Island Classic, with his
parents f lying in with a brand-
new Shark helmet prepared
by fellow Wollongong artisan
Mark ‘Brownie’ Brown. Troy’s
wife Sam arranged the new
take on the world champ’s
traditional racing livery and
Brown's Grafix did the rest.
