It’s February, which means
hello, Valentine’s Day. This month, as
well as showing the people you love
some love, take some time out to
show your affection for all the things
in life you are thankful for too.
What do we mean by that?
Gratitude! It’s an emotion that
delivers some seriously good
health benefits – such as less
stress and anxiety, better sleep
quality, improved mood and greater
relationship satisfaction.
It can even help you out on your
weight-loss journey, because
grateful people find it easier to
bounce back from challenges.
Research proves they do more
activity, too – and when combined
with a healthier eating pattern,
activity can lead to a 20 per cent
greater weight loss.

The great thing is that
there are some scientifically proven
yet simple techniques you can use to
foster feelings of gratitude, and this
