3 WOW!

THINGS
I LEARNED ON
THE PROGRAM

1

Everyone’s body is
different, and all
I need to worry about
is how I feel in myself.

2

I used to get
disappointed if one
week I only lost 100g,
but now I look at the bigger
picture. I’m happy with
my overall achievement
and I no longer focus on
just one week.

Surrounding myself
with people who
support me and
understand my health
goals is half the reason
for my success.

Freddie, who’s turned out to be
the perfect fitness buddy.
“Freddie is very active and
full of energy. I walk him twice
a day. I like to time our walks
then try to better our time
the next day,” she says. “We set
small goals to go a little further
or a little faster. He loves it.”

CHANGING HER HEAD SPACE
Naturally warm, positive and
outgoing, Sophie never worried
about what others thought of her
until she became overweight.
The heavier she got, the more
self-conscious she became.
“I started to wonder what
people thought of me and I felt
maybe they were judging me for
what I was eating. They probably
weren’t, but I remember it was
a horrible feeling.
“I’m so much happier in
myself now. When I wake up in
the mornings I want to jump up
and get into my day. I can’t just
sleep in like I used to.
“Before, I always felt sluggish
and worn out, but now it’s as if
someone has plugged me in to a
power socket. Now I know what
life is meant to feel like!” #
