STITCHER SISTERS

RACHEL & SARAH ROXBURGH

The Roxburgh sisters are the creative dynamos
behind the wonderful Roxy Creations brand, and
they are two of Homespun magazine’s favourite
designers – wildly creative and impeccable
craftswomen. Despite the fact that Rachel lives
in Italy and Sarah in Australia, Homespun has
ht them together for our fabulous 2018
of the Month project because of their rare
and unmatched reputations. Their work is
ctive and eclectic, covering any number
erent design commissions, with styles
g from bright and whimsical through to
e romantic, all of which is evident in this

Block of the Month. By way of introduction, w
thought we’d bring you this visual scrapbook
of their past Homespun projects to give you t
fl avour of their unique designs and beautiful
needlework. Each and every one of their
previous projects has been a joy to behold. B
unquestionably, their pièce de résistance is t
superb My Butterfl y Patch BOM – a soft and
beautiful masterpiece of design and stitching

The Roxburgh creative album is:
| Joyous – a celebration of colour and patter
| Magical – fantasy designs to lift the spirits
| The perfect mix of styles – a fl awless
blending of vintages, where old lace meets
cutting-edge contemporary
| Modern sophistication with childlike innoce
| A visual feast – intricate elements that ke
your eyes scanning for more ‘treats’
| Heart-warming – made from the heart to
warm the cockles!
