Note: Read all the instructions
before starting the project. The
listed threads were used by
Chloe but they can be varied
or substituted with other
colours and brands if desired.
Six strands of embroidery
cotton are used unless stated
otherwise. It’s fine to work the
designs in a 12cm (5in) hoop
if you don’t have a 15cm (6in)
one, but it’s slightly easier to
stitch with more space around
the design, plus if the fabric
isn’t perfectly centred in the
larger hoop, the creases are no
problem since they’ll be hidden
in the smaller framing hoops.
Instructions are given for using
the printed Pattern Sheet in
the magazine, but you can also
download the digital patterns
from http://www.homespun.net.au
and print them out.
