WHAT'S HAPPENING?

CAMPER TRAILER OF THE YEAR JUDGES

ADJOURN TO MULL OVER THEIR NOTES

Intrigue within the camper trailer and outdoor

adventure community is at fever pitch as we all

await the judging deliberations from November’s

Camper Trailer of the Year.

Phone calls, emails and even a simple raised

and waggling set of quizzical eyebrows have

been proffered in an attempt to glean some

knowledge of where things with the judging is at.

Of course, we won’t know until all the

scoresheets and accompanying adjudication

rationale is lodged securely at Adventure HQ.

As we go to print, we expect to receive

concrete headway within the next few days.

What we can say, categorically, is that this

year’s CTOTY will be remembered for the

outstanding quality of all 25 finalists.

All four judges have said, repeatedly, this

year’s final showcase was by far the most

outstanding they can remember.

Another hot topic here at Adventures HQ, is

how the HYBRID category has gone off like a

frog in a sock. It was a fully-loaded category

spanning a large price range. It’ll be interesting

to read what the judges made of these and other

manufacturing and marketing developments.

In terms of picking a winner — we don’t envy

the judges their decision!

Also bubbling along in the background is

Adventures Group’s grand trip to the Northern

Territory. We’ve produced some awesome

narrative content that we’re hanging out to share

with you! What an awesome place the Top End

is. We’ll be ready to roll on those stories in the

March issue of the magazine, right after the two

bumper Camper Trailer of the Year issues!
