i PETS readers,
Can you believe it’s nearly Easter? It seems as if I only just
stopped opening presents at Christmas and now chocolate
season is upon us! I can’t wait to indulge in a host of tasty
treats this season — although, of course, I’ll be careful to
keep them from my dogs! If you need more information
on how you can celebrate Easter with your pet without the
potential risk of theobromine poisoning, make sure to check
out our article on page 40.
Easter can be a great time with our pets. Most of us have
a few days off , so why not spend them with your cat or dog
and perfect some of your training? Whether your pet is
an advanced learner or sometimes struggles with simpler
commands, we can all benefi t from going back to basics
from time to time. Check out our advice on doing this in
our feature on page 46.
Of course, that’s not all we have in store for you! We fi nd
out more about our dogs’ favourite time of day (hint: it starts
with the letter “W”!), get the low-down on stress-free feline
travel, learn about the correct way to greet your dog, and get
an answer to the question we all want to know: do our pets
really love us? (Spoiler alert — we’re fairly sure they do!)
So, sit back, munch down on those delicious chocolate eggs
and enjoy this issue of PETS. Give your pets a cuddle from me!
