We’d like you to meet Barry. Everyone knows a Barry. He is middle-aged, wears
2 0-year-old gear, rides a clapped-out Honda XR and still reminisces about Stephen Gall
winning Mr Motocross in 1982. Barry misses the good ol’ days, which is why he has
developed the next big thing in the world of dirtbikes, the Glory Days machine. The
Glory Days device is a time machine that takes you back to an age when two-strokes
roamed freely, when motocross was at its peak and guys like Gally participated in
bizarre ad campaigns that would end up on the pages of ADB. It takes you back to
fl ouro gear, the Holden Sandman, VB longnecks and old-school Acca Dacka (not Craig
Dacka). Barry named the machine after the Springsteen song (one of his faves) and
cites Back to the Future as one of his main infl uences. But does anyone really
understand that movie? How can you go back to the future? Good one Barry.
ARRIVING: 21 October, 2015. Get it?
