Does apple cider vinegar
have many health benefits?
A
pple cider vinegar is an
amazing, cheap, and easily
sourced go-to — for so
many reasons, it’s one of my
favourite products. It can be used to help
the digestive juices flow and as a throat
gargle for a sore throat. It’s also a great
natural cleaning product!
Apple cider vinegar has been around
for years. Hippocrates used vinegar for
wounds and natural practitioners used it
for everything from helping with diabetes
to stomach cramps!
Apple cider vinegar contains amazing
properties, including acetic acid,
malic acid (which helps with fatigue),
magnesium, and even probiotics. It’s
great for digestion, reflux, and bloating,
which are sometimes caused by bad
bacteria in the gut or too little stomach
acid.
Because of the compound acetic acid,
apple cider vinegar kills unwanted bad
bacteria and helps the good bacteria to
flourish. It can also kill pathogens, is
great for fungal infections, and is highly
anti-inflammatory, so can help with skin
issues.
In addition, apple cider vinegar can
help with insulin sensitivity, so taking
this drink before bed can also help with
lowering blood sugar levels naturally. It
also helps with your body’s detoxifying
process as well as helping to curb
cravings.
So if you are tired, have a sore throat,
have trouble with bloating, or need a hair
mask, apple cider vinegar is your new
best friend! Who knew this underrated
liquid could have so many benefits!
