horrific behaviour and kept it hidden, who
enabled it and whether other moguls or
actors engaged in similar behaviour.
Stars who aren’t involved in the lawsuits
could also be compelled to speak. ‘Actresses
like Angelina Jolie [and] Gwyneth Paltrow
could be called to
testify to show a pattern
of behaviour by Mr
Weinstein... [for] how
he allegedly sexually
harasses women
and assaults them,’
adds Ambrosio.
But it goes
both ways: the
disgraced
movie
mogul
could expose information
about A-listers if he decides
to play dirty. ‘He knows
everything that happened on
his sets,’ notes the source.
‘He could bring down
some of Hollywood’s
top actors.’
Ripples have
already been felt
throughout the
entertainment
industry: stars have
revealed stories about
other celebrities who acted

inappropriately. Ben Affleck apologised
after being accused of grabbing Hilarie
Burton’s breast on MTV ’s TRL in 2003
(see story right). James Van Der Beek and
Terry Crews both came forward to reveal
they’d been groped by powerful men in
the industry against their will.
‘We haven’t even reached the tip of the
iceberg,’ Gloria tells OK!. ‘Not even close.’

‘I was asked to do a follow-up meeting
at his hotel. I called one of my actress
friends to explain my discomfort, and
she offered to come with me. En route,
she called me to say she couldn’t make it.
Not wanting to be at the hotel alone with
him, I made up an excuse... Harvey told
me that my actress friend was already
at his hotel... I knew he was lying...’

‘HW raped me...
Men in Hollywood
need to change ASAP.
Hollywood’s power
is dying because
society has
changed and
grown, and yet
Hollywood
male behaviour
has not. It is
so not a good
look. In the
way cooler
than Hollywood
world I live and work
in, I am actually
embarrassed to
be associated
with it.’ (Harvey’s
representative,
Sallie Hofmeister,
denies Rose’s
rape accusations.)

NO MORE SECRETS
Harvey has already

Harvey masturbated in front of her in 2008,
and Gloria has also ‘been hearing from
women making similar allegations against

While Harvey has a US constitutional
Fifth Amendment right to stay silent in

LA defence attorney Ambrosio Rodriguez,
who specialises in sex crimes and doesn’t

ROSE McGOWAN

After refusing Harvey’s advances at his house,
Lysette went home, where she alleges, ‘I was in
my dressing gown and I answered the door to
find Harvey standing there. He pushed me inside
and rammed me up against the coat rack in my
tiny hall and started fumbling at my gown. He was
trying to kiss me and touch me. It was disgusting.
Finally I just gave up. At least I was able to stop
him kissing me. As he ground himself against
me and touched me, I kept my eyes shut tight,
held my breath, just let him get on with it.’
