WITH SUMMER RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER, IT’S TIME TO GET BACK INTO SHAPE!


MOVE 1: SQUATS
Stand straight with your feet hip-width
apart and place your hands on your hips.
Engage your stomach and glutes, and
bend your knees, lowering your body
as if you’re sitting on a chair, raising your
arms to shoulder height as you do so.
Once in a seated position, keep your
muscles engaged as you straighten your
legs to return to the start position.

MOVE 2: JUMPING JACKS
Stand with your feet slightly apart and your
hands down by your sides. In one motion,
jump your feet out to the side and raise
your arms above
your head, both
in a ‘V’ position.
Immediately
reverse that
motion by
jumping back
to the starting
position to
repeat the
movement.

MOVE 3: PUSH-UPS
Start in a plank. Place your hands
under your shoulders, then engage
your core, glutes and hamstrings,
keeping your back flat as you
lower your body until elbows are
bent at 90 degrees. Exhale as
you push back to the
plank position.

MOVE 4: LUNGES
Stand with feet shoulder-width apart
and shoulders back. Step forward with
one leg in a wide stance, maintaining
a straight spine. Lower hips until both
knees are bent at a 90-degree angle.
Pushing off the heel, step back into
start position. Repeat with other leg.

MOVE 5: PUSH-UP
WITH ROTATION
Using tips from move 3, lower your
body into push-up position and
keep core engaged. As you push
back up, rotate your upper body
to the side while extending your
right arm upwards, holding your
core strong. Return to the start
position. Repeat on other side.
