Did Jarrod Woodgate pop
into a jewellery store to find
an engagement ring for
Sophie during the hometown
dates? We wouldn’t be
surprised! He’s already
planned his ideal proposal
- ‘It’ll involve Sophie [and]
a helicopter ride to a hidden
location,’ the 32-year-old
vineyard manager shares.
He’s also worked out the
finer details about his and
the leading lady’s future
children, too – yep, they’ve
had that discussion.
‘We’ve decided we want
a boy and a girl... but no
names, we haven’t come
down to that yet,’ he tells.
So will he need the tick
of approval from the family
before making any big
commitments? Nope!
‘If they think we work
together, great; if [they
think] we don’t, people
can get over it and can
work around that. It’s not
a deal-breaker.’
Smitten Jarrod says that
heading home at this point
would leave him ‘distraught’.

Stu Laundy was given the
‘frontrunner’ title long
before he arrived on the
show – and it’s a tag
he’s pleased to have. ‘My
feelings for Sophie have
grown astronomically and
I do feel our lives would
fit together,’ he shares.
In fact, the 44-year-old
from Sydney says he hasn’t
been as content as he is
with Soph by his side in a
very long time, if ever! ‘My
heart was badly broken by
my ex-wife. I was in a world
of pain. I haven’t been this
happy in 20 years,’ he spills.
He’s also looking forward
to introducing Soph to his
nearest and dearest, but is
understandably nervous.
‘It’s been close to 20 years
since I brought a newgirl home to the family,’
he explains. ‘I hope she’s
a huge part of my life.
I need the family’s blessing.’
While Stu tells OK! one of
the biggest hurdles he’s ever
had to face is his ‘marriage
coming to an end’, it’s clear
he’s ready to move on now
that he and estranged wife
Rachel are ‘very close’ to
finalising their divorce.
The father of four girls
(Sophie won’t meet his
daughters during the
hometown dates) also
admits he’s willing to pack
his bags and move to the
Gold Coast to be with
Sophie, 37, and has said
that if ‘the situation arose’
he’d even get his vasectomy
reversed to fulfil Sophie’s
dream of becoming a mum.

Monroe for a party. Sophie
had a job as her,’ he laughs.
