a little random that Drake

threw Bella Hadid a splashy

21st birthday bash at New

York’s Socialista lounge

on October 9. Turns out

there was a reason for his

generosity! ‘Bella and Drake

have been secretly dating

since June,’ a source tells OK!

exclusively. ‘It started out

casual, but they’re definitely

serious. They’ve been

meeting up and going out

for romantic dinners.’

Drake, 31, first met Bella

back when she was dating

The Weeknd. After the

duo’s November 2016

split, ‘Drake turned on the

charm and wooed her with

romantic gestures, including

expensive jewellery and

flowers,’ says the source.

Still, don’t expect Bella

and Drake to be shouting

their love from the rooftops.

‘After having such a public

relationship and break-up with

The Weeknd, Bella wants to

keep her new relationship on

the downlow,’ the source adds.

SECRET ROMANCE

Dakota Johnson has had some

good nights out recently! She

was spotted on a dinner date

with Coldplay frontman Chris

Martin, with the pair grabbing

a bite at a sushi restaurant in

LA on October 10. Dakota,

28, and Chris, 40, were said

to be ‘cosy, laughing and

affectionate’ as they dined.

But Chris isn’t the only

one wining and dining her!

The week prior to their date,

the Fifty Shades actress was

spotted enjoying drinks with

Mad Men star Jon Hamm.

‘They seemed to really

be enjoying each other’s

company,’ an insider says of

the duo’s two-hour hangout at

Kingside in the Viceroy Central

Park hotel. It wasn’t the first

time the two have spent time

together, either. They were

photographed in April at Elton

John’s 70th birthday party.

And while Jon, 46 – who

split from his longtime partner,

actress Jennifer Westfeldt, in

2015 – has admitted he finds it

‘hard to be single’, it appears

Dakota is enjoying playing the

field a little, having parted

ways from on-off boyfriend

Matthew Hitt in 2016.
