L

ife before the
challenge:
I was unhealthy.
Coming from a
year of self-sabotage and
not nourishing myself with
good food and exercise, I was
carrying 30kg more than I
should have. In 2015 I was
training six days a week, eating
well and I was fit and healthy;
however in 2016 I let myself go.
I didn’t train and I didn’t eat to
fuel my body.
A friend of mine
suggested I sign up for the
challenge and so I did. I am
grateful that my friend made
the suggestion in the first place
and gave me that "kick" to get
started!
Changes I’ve made to
succeed in the challenge:
I am feeling more confident
within myself and much
happier with the progress I
have made. It really is only the
start for me and I look forward
to continuing my journey.
I have learnt so much
about myself and of
how to maintain a
busy lifestyle with
children, work and
family and my own
health and fitness.
Since the challenge
has ended I have
set new goals for
myself and I’m
looking forward to
smashing them one day
at a time!
