Advertorial

Many years ago I made it my life’s work to end
the concept of dieting and provide people
with a real health solution.
For more than 15 years, I’ve immersed
myself in understanding the way the human
body functions, and identifying what
this means when it comes to eating and
exercising.
I’m so proud that through extensive
research and testing, this goal of mine has
culminated in the launch of ZEN Project 8
distributed exclusively through Jeunesse in
Australia, meaning more Aussies can finally
dismount the calorie counting treadmill!
Our bodies need a combination of proteins,
fats and carbs, where each food type works
as a specific function in the body, and restores
hormonal balance if consumed in combination
regularly. This approach is far from starving
yourself – that does nothing for your
ability to function as a human! Instead, this
combination focuses on fuelling your body
to add muscle mass while being nutritionally
valuable. It’s what I call PFC – Every 3 – that
is, eating a combination of proteins, fats and
carbs every three hours. Eating PFC Every
3 balances your blood sugar, protects your
muscle, and triggers your body to consistently
release stored fat.

Why PFC Every 3 works
We created ZEN Project 8 to help people over
the course of three phases, Detox, Ignite, and
Thrive, to adapt to a new lifestyle, rather than
a quick fix. We wanted to create real products
with nutritional value to fill those meal gaps in
training, and be result oriented so people can
track their progress.
PFC Every 3 goes back to basics. There’s no
bells and whistles here. The fact is, excessive
carbs or calories per meal can create a blood
sugar spike, where the body goes into fat
storing mode. Likewise, skipping meals,
restricting calories or exercising on an empty
stomach can result in blood sugar levels
plummeting, causing the body to burn muscle
and hold on to fat – neither is an outcome we
want!

Balancing blood sugar puts the body into
fat burning mode. Eating protein positively
affects your blood sugar hormone glucagon
(raises your blood sugar), eating carbs affects
your blood sugar hormone insulin (lowers your
blood sugar), and eating fat slows down the
rate of digestion by inhibiting the release of
HCL (your stomach acid). The combination of
the three nutrients in the right portion sizes
and intervals keeps your blood sugar balanced
and keeps you feeling satisfied for longer.

What does a PFC Every 3 meal look
like?
It looks like real food, that’s what! It’s an equal
portion of chicken (protein), brown rice (carbs)
and avocado (fat) with vegetables like salad or
cauliflower or capsicum. Or it’s eggs (offering
protein and fat) with a side of apple (carbs).
It’s all food you probably eat now anyway, but
combined, which really fuels your body!
I promise you won’t be hungry following
PFC Every 3! And the preparation is really
pretty easy. You can make 4 – 6 meals with
every batch you cook up, which, when
combined with 2 or 3 recipes, can last you all
week.
