FRINGES
THE UPDATE: “This season’s bangs sit above
the eyebrows for a bold statement that makes the
eyes pop,” says Marjan. STYLE NOTE: Those with
oval or heart-shaped faces and straight or wavy
hair can pull this off – Marjan suggests spritzing
hairspray at the roots then using a fine-tooth
comb (plus lots of tension) to flatten any cowlicks.

SHORT HAIR
THE UPDATE: Blunt ends. “This makes the finish
heavier so hair looks thicker and fuller,” explains
Marjan. STYLE NOTE: Experiment with different
textures to emphasise the cut, from natural and
wavy to sleek and straight. Try flat-ironing
the ends then finishing with a shine serum
to add a heathy sheen.

LONG HAIR
THE UPDATE: “Less volume and less styling,”
says Marjan. STYLE NOTE: Ensure you’re using
the right shampoo and conditioner for your hair
type. Post-wash, apply a leave-in treatment and
let your strands air-dry. Or try massaging a styling
cream into clean, damp lengths before you
go to bed and wake up ready to go!

THE UPDATE: Lobs still rule, but now “we’re

on the ends and slightly longer in the front”,
says Marjan. STYLE NOTE: “Use a flat iron
to detail the face-framing pieces, then run
a small amount of texturiser throughout for
a more lived-in finish,” Marjan suggests.
