SEYFRIED

The actress on her obsession with scents,
spa treatments and toning her butt

When I was 11, I used to sneak out
and put mascara on before school.
Mum would catch me, of course! My
blonde lashes have always been a big
deal for me – you can barely see them
without mascara. I tint them every
three weeks and curl them, too.
I’m always working on my butt.
That’s why I love Barre so much. The
combination of Pilates and cardio is
so good for toning, and you can target
specific areas like your thighs or bum.
A Korean spa treatment is the best
thing to do before the red carpet.
I’ll have an all-over skin buff and then
go straight into the sauna afterwards

  • it’s a nice way to get rid of toxins.
When I like a scent, I stick with it
    and Givenchy Live Irrésistible
Délicieuse is perfect for me. In high

school, I used to like Clinique’s Happy;
now Live Irrésistible Délicieuse’s
sweetness and energy reminds me
of that time in my life. [Seyfried is
an ambassador for Givenchy.]
Dry shampoo is my saviour. I only
wash my hair once every six days, so
I use it a lot. If my ends get dry I rub
in a little coconut oil. I try to leave my
hair as long as I can before washing
it, but when I have to, I love using
Acure’s organic shampoos.
I’m obsessed with candles. I have
them all over the house. I burn incense
all the time, too.
I whiz up fresh fruit and vegetable
smoothies every morning. Since living
in New York and LA I’ve gotten into
organic food and products – city life
makes me want to be a bit more eco.

“Warm floral candles like
Diptyque Figuier [$74]
help me relax.”

“Kevin.Murphy Fresh
Hair Dry Cleaning Spray
[$38.95] has loads of
essential oils in it, so
it smells delicious.”

“I use a dry body brush at home
and exfoliate the hell out of my
bum and legs.” Pictured: EcoTools
Bamboo Bristle Bath Brush, $14.

“Cutting my bangs was a spur-of-the-
moment decision. I always keep a set
of mini straighteners with me so if I get
any annoying kinks from sleeping or
travelling, I can smooth them out.”

“For a big event, red
lipstick makes me feel
classy.” Pictured: Rimmel
London The Only 1
Matte Lipstick in Take
The Stage, $15.95.

“Givenchy Live Irrésistible
Délicieuse [EDP 75ml,
$165] is floral and feminine
but still similar to the
original Live Irrésistible
scent, which I love.”

Guerlain
Cils d’Enfer Maxi
Lash Mascara, $54.
