LORD OF THE RINGS One Christmas, Domenic took
Hayley to New Zealand for six days as a surprise
present. While they were shopping together in Auckland,
Domenic managed to find a boutique jeweller and
surreptitiously bought Hayley a beautiful diamond ring.
But it wasn’t until months later that he proposed, on a
big, comfy outdoor lounge, in a rooftop bar overlooking
Bangkok. He was so nervous, he’d tried to tell the
bathroom attendant what he was about to do.

PINNED TOGETHER ‘I always knew I wanted an A-line
dress, to be able to enjoy the amazing food at Doltone
House,’ says the bride, who searched on Pinterest and
through Bride To Be for ideas. ‘I also knew I wanted lace as
it gives the wedding a vintage feel. Lace is very famine and
delicate which I knew my partner would like.’ Beaded lace,
a chiffon skirt, a jewelled belt, covered buttons and a
V-neck came together for her big day. Domenic and his
groomsmen had their suits and shoes tailor made in
Thailand while enjoying his buck’s holiday.

If you’re having a dress

create a mood board of
styles and fabrics you
love, as well as elements
of your theme to show
the designer.

On a night out a few years ago, Hayley, 23, noticed handsome Domenic, 27, out of the corner of her eye. A

teenager then, she strolled by him several times, just willing him to talk to her. When she’d almost given up hope, he

came over. They danced. On their first date they watched funny movies at home, laughing and talking until 5am.
