Villa Botanica ticked all these
boxes. It was important to both
Pene and Anthony that their
wedding reflect them personally.
They organised many unique
elements to the day: two friends
played guitar and sang during their
ceremony; the couple labelled a
special run of Tyrrell’s tawny port to
give as bomboniere; and tables at
the reception were named after
Pene and Anthony’s much-loved
late grandparents. Their overall
theme was ‘elegance with
an earthy undertone,
and a few vintage
touches’. Tones of
charcoal brown,
sepia, gold and pink
tied it all together.
