Pro show jumper, Hilary, 24, and horse trainer Todd, 25, first met as teens through a shared equine passion. They married
in a country setting with Hilary’s brother as the MC. ‘Towards the end of the night my brother had to mention that from
now on I would be residing in the “Hindquarters” given our connection with horses and Todd’s surname!’ says the bride.
SWEET HERITAGE The bride wore a Louise Alvarez
A-line gown with French lace bodice, tailored bow,
delicate tulle cap sleeves and pleated tulle overlay. ‘I
grew up in the country and have always loved heritage
style items, so I think this influenced the details of the
dress. It felt somewhat enchanted, like a fairy tale gown,’
says the bride.
HEART WARMING ‘Spending the day with everyone
important in your life in one location is truly heart
warming and such an amazing feeling. It really is the best
day of your life and it’s over far too quickly,’ adds Hilary.
The bride wore a pair of pearl drop earrings with a pearl
necklace. ‘One of my bridesmaids presented me with the
gift on the morning of the wedding and it was a lovely
surprise,’ Hilary recalls of her husband’s surprise.
