of thyme or rosemary
and place on top of a
white napkin.IN GOOD THYME James and Anne’s guests
sat at round tables, adorned with Phalaenopsis
orchids. Napkins were tied with thyme, and
small heart-shaped blackboards marked each
person’s place. Dinner was served on platters,
family style, so each guest could choose what
they wanted to eat. ‘We got so many comments
on how delicious the food was,’ says the bride.
‘All the speeches were entertaining,’ says Anne.
Bridesmaid Gabriela Hernandez gave a touching
speech about the bride, and Tom Coughlan,
father of the bride, who’s renowned for being an
entertaining speaker, had the whole room laughing.
Anne says that ‘being called “wife” for the first time
in front of everyone’ by her husband in his speech
was a special moment for her’. She adds, ‘Seeing
everyone get up on the dance floor and having an
awesome time was definitely a highlight. Music was important
for us, and we were so happy our guests enjoyed it.’
