Using stripes in a
few ways — on menu,
bomboniere boxes
and cake, for example
— is a great way to
unify your theme.

SWEET LOVE Jane wanted their
styling to have lots of colour and
chose pink and purple to offset a
strong black and white theme. Black
table runners and napkins looked
striking on the tables, flower boxes
popped with colour and full white
blooms. Pretty cupcakes in
cellophane boxes served as place
cards, and each guest received a
striped box of delicious Belle Fleur
chocolates as bomboniere. The
sweets in the candy bar also
matched Jane’s colour scheme.
THEY JUST CLICKED Jane’s dad
John did shed a tear while making
his speech — ‘He told me he’d
practiced it so that he wouldn’t,’
says the bride. Above all else, the evening was filled with laughter and
celebrations. Guests ‘had a ball’ with the photobooth, says Jane. And the
newlyweds may have started dancing to If This Is It, by Newton Faulkner,
but were soon doing the moves to Gangnam Style
together with friends
and family.
