well, as well as how
to store them.
Susanne Borg & Paul Constantine

‘We had met through friends, and we were at the same bar one afternoon. He asked me to mind his
sunglasses, because he was going out and I was going home. Well, he had to come and get them at some
stage ...’ says Susanne, 36, of how Paul, 32, laid the groundwork for their romance.
SEASIDE GARDEN THEME Almost four years after
meeting, Paul took Susanne out to lunch for her
birthday and, ‘proposed with the most amazing
engagement ring I have ever seen’. It took the
couple only six months to plan their wedding — a
festival held over two days. On Friday March 1,
Susanne walked down the aisle of the church she’d
been baptised in, in a strapless white lace Lisa Ho
gown and a short veil that she’d bought online at
J.Crew. Her family and Paul’s family were there to
hear them take their vows, and then everyone went
back to Susanne’s sister Karen’s house for a
garden party styled by Susan Avery Flowers and
Events. Chris Libro played guitar and sang while
guests enjoyed a three-course lunch prepared by
Tim Noye of Cooking By Design.
