A BUNCH OF WHITE Jen wanted
flowers to be a focal point of the
reception, because the glass-walled
Public Dining Room didn’t require
much other styling. She says,
‘White peonies, hydrangeas and
dahlias ran low and long down our
tables, with white votive candles
nestled among them.’ Her own
bouquet was a stunning bunch of
peonies and hydrangeas.
NEVERENDING STORY After their
reception — at which they enjoyed
every bit of a dinner that was just
‘too good to miss’, and speeches
that were ‘a good mix of loving,
sentimental and funny’, says Jen
— the couple reconvened with their
closest friends at The Victoria
Room in Darlinghurst for an after
party of dancing and reliving the
day — ‘It was incredibly fun and
made us feel like the night was
never ending.’
Bomboniere can be
simple. Ask a relative to
bake their specialty and
package them up in a
cute bag or box to
suit your theme.
