Note: This is an easy skill-level project.
Use only the yarn specified. Other yarns
are likely to produce diff erent results.
Quantities are approximate as they can
vary between knitters. Check the ball bands
to ensure than all yarn of each colour is
from the same dye lot. All the cushions

are worked in one piece. If you have
difficulty sourcing a 70cm cushion insert,
a European pillow (65cm/25^1 ⁄ 2 in square)
may suff ice. There is no direct equivalent
US size for 7mm needles – the closest
size is 10^1 ⁄ 2 , which is equivalent to
6.5mm needles.

Tension
Floor cushion: 11.5 sts and 16 rows
to 10cm (4in) over stocking stitch,
using 9mm needles and three strands
of yarn held together.
Striped cushions: 14 sts and 19 rows
to 10cm (4in) over stocking stitch,
using 7mm needles and two strands
of yarn held together.
Check your tension carefully. If fewer
sts to 10cm (4in), use smaller needles;
if more sts, use larger needles.
