SEDEF’S FELT PATTERN
TIPS Use a common stationery stapler,
rather than pins, to attach paper patterns
to felt. The staples keep the patterns flatter
against the felt and don’t warp it as pins tend
to do. You can also attach very small pattern
pieces to felt more easily with staples.

SEDEF’S CUTTING TIPS
I use curved nail scissors for the fine detailed
cutting of small pieces. I switch the scissors
around to follow the curve of the pattern. Their
sharp points are also handy for piercing holes.

SEDEF’S STUFFING TIPS
When stuff ing each area of the designs, use
lots of small pieces of stuff ing rather than a big
bunch and make sure that it is spread evenly
inside the shape, without any bulges. Don’t
stuff the areas too tightly at any point.
