PAST MAST
Pam (or should that be Capt’n Pam?), of House
of Hawthornes, is a lover of all things vintage,
secondhand and upcycle-able. And she can see
possibilities where others mightn’t. A twig and
a branch are not just woody off cuts; they’re
mast and hull, and they’re crying out for the
small scraps of ticking fabric she’s got stashed
in her cupboard. Within 15 minutes, she’s
launched a fabulous new sail boat as a
decorative accessory or nursery toy. All that’s
missing is a weeny bottle of Champers to crack
over its bow! If you’d like to make something
nautical and nice for yourself, Pam shares her
tutorial at http://www.houseofhawthornes.com
