5 MINUTES WITH

Matthew Williamson
International fashion designer Matthew Williamson
has branched into interiors and released a collection
of wallpapers and fabrics for Osborne & Little.

My collections are recognised by the signature use of
print, embellishment and colour. They o en refl ect a
refi ned yet spirited sense of glamour inspired by global
and artistic infl uences. Dragonfl ies, hummingbirds and
peacock feathers have been referenced since my early
collections and have become motifs of the brand.
I like the contrast of hot and cold colours in a
collection, pairing shades you wouldn’t naturally think
would sit together, but do. Prints then add another layer.
I’ve always had an interest in interiors so it was
such an honour when Osborne & Little approached
me to collaborate.
I was really excited to translate my design signatures
for interiors, pairing this with the savoir faire and
cra smanship that Osborne & Little is known for.
In fashion we focus on form, fi t and movement.
Designing for interiors is more static, so you have to
take into account the e ect a print would have spatially.

OUT OF THIS WORLD
Reminiscent of the “striking architecture
and enduring strength of the Colosseum”,
this piece from Greg Natale’s new

our eye. Gold leaf side table with
bevelled glass, $1990; http://www.gregnatale

Ceramic art
In a dreamy palette of chalky greys and
blues, Australian design brand Búl’s latest
collaboration with ceramic artist Tania
Rollond is highly covetable. We love the
clean design and Scandinavian aesthetic.
