“As a movement and
organisation, Killing Kittens
is something that Australia
needs,” says the new Killing
Kittens head of operations
in the area, who likes to be
known only as Aus Kitty.
“The fact we already have
over 1000 members before
the parties have launched is
testament to the fact that
Australia has been crying
out for something like this.”
The first party will
host around 150 Australian
kittens, with those lucky
enough to have got tickets
paying $500 for a single girl
and $1200 to attend as part
of a couple. “Preparations
[for the launch party] are
very much underway and
the venue is very elite but
we don’t disclose the exact
location until just 24 hours
before the party,” says Aus
Kitty. Of course, the secrecy
is all part of the excitement
and intrigue.
The parties, which
started in London in 2005,
have always been aimed at
women. Men are allowed to
attend but only if they are
with a woman and, once at
the venue, the women call
the shots, approaching men
for sex rather than the other
way around. In fact, out of
the 40,000 Killing Kittens
members worldwide, 80 per
cent are female.
It’s for this reason the
slightly off-putting Killing
Kittens name evolved. There
is a myth that every time a
woman “sins” and pleasures
herself, God kills a kitten as
punishment. This story has
turned “killing kittens” into

a byword of sorts for female
masturbation – what better
name for an organisation
whose aim is the pursuit of
female sexual pleasure?
Of course, gaining
membership to the exclusive
sex club isn’t a given – there’s
a rigorous vetting process.
Hopeful applicants must be
between 18 and 45. You’re
requested to send a photo of
yourself – their “philosophy”
is that only gorgeous people
need apply. Sayles is rather
unapologetic about how she
discriminates based on style
and looks. It means that the
line-up of an average party
includes models, actresses
and It girls all looking to
explore their sexual desires
and fantasies in a way that

may be impossible for them
in other scenarios.
The elaborate masks
that everyone wears at the
start of the evening protect
identities so even celebrities
can attend. Many choose to
remove these as the party
progresses, however, as they
are rightly unashamed of
their involvement. After all,
what’s to be ashamed of in
a movement that provides
women with a platform to
discover themselves in such
an exciting and risqué (albeit
safe – plenty of condoms are
provided) way.
One of these women is
Stacey. The 36-year-old from
Sussex in the UK has been
attending Killing Kittens
parties with her husband for
the past four years. She is
proud that she’s been brave
enough to take the plunge
into a world that has opened
her eyes to what sex is all
about. She explains to Cosmo
what it’s really like...

His martini wasn’t
the only dirty thing
on her mind...

I got married when I
was 21, and before that I’d
not really had many sexual
experiences. A feeling of
missing out had always kind
of played on my mind and
after 12 years of marriage
I finally decided to actually
do something about it.
I gently explained to
my husband Pete* how much
I loved him but that I felt the
need for something more. I
didn’t want to have an affair
but I’d read about the Killing
Kittens parties so suggested
we go to one. Amazingly,
he was straight on board.
I think he appreciated my
honesty and, as we booked
into an event, we were both
so swept up in our naughty
secret that I felt closer to him
than I had in years.
On the evening of the
party we were both really
nervous. We’d planned our
outfits for weeks in advance
and as I slipped into a black
skirt, see-through shirt and
